The 3 hairpins have a size of about 3.2cm x 3cm to 3cm x 5.1cm and are 3 mm thick. We only use responsibly sourced FSC Certified European birch plywood, which is super lightweight with a lovely sturdiness.

These gorgeous insects were created using computer software and then printed by myself on high quality recycled paper. I then attach the image to the same sustainably sourced wood I use for all of my jewelry. The bees are then cut out with a laser. Each insect is then meticulously groomed to provide a silky touch and sheen by sealing and varnishing.

From start to finish, it took 2 days to make each of my pieces.

The wood used to make all of our jewelry is leftovers from other projects that people throw away that would otherwise end up in landfills. Our philosophy is to reduce the amount of waste generated, not increase it. We believe in sustainable ways of doing business.
